I am normally not the person to heavily relate to fictional characters, let alone go so far as to say that one influenced or acted as a sort of distant mentor to me, but that’s just what happened. Batwoman and Sailor Neptune both helped me come to terms with myself even if it’s been a really slow going process from my childhood to now. It feels a little lame to admit that, but I don’t care! It’s not like tumblr is going to be the community to judge me for holding comic characters in high esteem!
